Why Lantern Strategies Group?
The COVID-19 virus and the resulting business shutdowns, shelter-in-place orders and government intervention has caused massive disruption in the U.S. and world economies.
Large, multinational companies have the management depth and financial resources to maneuver through these difficult and unprecedented times.
Some smaller to mid-sized companies are currently encountering pandemic related issues such as significantly reduced revenues, labor constraints, cash flow shortfalls and limited access to capital while other companies are reporting significant increases in revenues, earnings and cash flow as demand from wholesale and retail customers skyrockets.
Lantern Strategies Group (“Lantern”) was formed to help management teams of both of these types of companies - ones facing survival and others managing record growth – compete and achieve management’s desired results with customers, vendors, employees, lenders and shareholders.
In both cases Lantern can facilitate an exit strategy for business owners considering a sale or recapitalization of their business, either as an advisor, a consultant or, in rare instances, a buyer.
Our Approach
Lantern operates as management’s sounding board and partner in helping to reinforce or change strategy, operating principles, supply chain management and agreed upon goals financial goals and incentives to accommodate today’s volatile markets.
Lantern is NOT necessarily looking to replace management; we are here to supplement management's experience such that the combined knowledge base is broader and deeper. However, if management has decided that an exit from the business is necessary and appropriate, Lantern is willing and capable of working with management to pursue such a strategy.
Lantern’s approach is multidisciplinary – strategy/operations; supply chain evaluation/management and finance – from principals that collectively have more than 100 years of business experience.
